My earliest woodworking memories are of my grandfather’s hands. It wasn’t just carpentry, either: from boogie-woogies on the piano to garden fresh fruit, Gus’s hands brought life and love to everyone he knew.

When I started Wright Woodcraft, I knew I wanted to build more than furniture; I wanted to build a legacy. That legacy takes two parts: I founded Wright Woodcraft as a BLLC, and a nonprofit – Family Land – as the core mission behind. Over time, they’ll grow together, a self-sustaining ecosystem spreading outward and upward.

Even the mighty oak starts as a seed, and I’m eager to see what’s to come. Gus passed away in 2024 shortly after his 100th birthday, but I know he’d be proud of what I’ve started and even prouder of the future I seek.
